We have been doing business with Campbell and Ferrara for more than 25 years, since we first bought our home in Alexandria. They have installed many trees and small plants, a lovely water feature, and in the past year several more trees and plants. We met with Christopher Myers, one of Campbell & Ferrara's landscape designers in October, 2020, to discuss options for our project and get an estimate on building a short stone wall, walkway, and repaving our driveway. Mr. Myers was very accommodating and open to ideas. He didn't try to upsell anything and genuinely wanted to understand our vision and work within our budget. The entire process - from planning, to scheduling, to completing the job and payment - went smoothly and was painless, even when unexpected weather postponed the work by a day. Our family appreciated the crew's professionalism and commitment to completing the job on time. And we love our stacked stone wall!

We contacted C&F to get a consult on repairing our back patio and a persistent backyard storm water drainage issue. C&F's Christopher Myers, a highly qualified landscape architect (ASLA, ISA Certified, LEED Green) listened carefully to our concerns, batted ideas back and forth with us, and responded with a comprehensive and innovative proposal, including drawings, specifications, and itemized costs. The project was complex, involving several runs of drainage trenching, targeted regrading, foundational patio rebuild, and renovation of stonework in our front garden. C&F began and completed work in a timely manner, staying on budget. The quality of the work was exemplary. The crew was conscientious and committed to completing the work to the highest standards. Chris, Tre'on (crew lead) and Allan (production manager) were highly responsive to our questions and requests, fully transparent, and closely monitored the conduct of the work. Overall, we were greatly impressed and satisfied, plan to use C&F for our future projects, and would highly recommend them without qualification.

From beginning to end, Campbell & Ferrara was amazing. Our designer, Chris Myers, was so professional and listened to our needs, then designed a plan for our landscaping that far surpassed my expectations. The scheduling and installation was perfect!

We needed to improve and expand our brick patio. Campbell and Ferrara sent Chris Myers as the designer of the project. He proposed a plan that incorporated our needs with materials we find congenial. We requested several tweaks to the original design as the process went along, and Chris was open to them while also explaining why some ideas might not be feasible. During construction, the team included two additional layers of supervision along with the foreman and his two men. They kept a close eye on the large and the small details, as did Chris, and were always available to answer our questions. The foreman and his men were pleasant to be around and did beautiful work with much care. The cost of this project seemed huge when we began, but it took 7 full days to complete and was done very well.

In 1999 Jim Campbell created the landscape and hardscape around our new addition. This month, designer Chris Myers led a team that did the latest (fourth, I think) update. It looks terrific! The plan was always to be lush, green and low maintenance. And it is. It makes urban living feel like the country. Thanks, all.

Peter Rhyne discussed with us our ideas on how to spruce up our rear yard that had become overgrown with weeds and tree roots. He listened to our thoughts and came up with a design that addressed all our wishes. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with! After about a month and a half of waiting, the Campbell & Ferrara crew showed up and within 3 days had transformed our yard! We can hardly wait until spring to see a new lawn and beautiful flower boxes in bloom!

Chris Meyers addressed our drainage issue by designing a beautiful dry creek bed that looks like an extension to our patio. Chris was very thorough in his planning and execution and made sure I was satisfied at every step. The price was excellent and the project completed early. I could not be happier.

I can’t say enough good things about this company! They came out and were able to turn what was basically a swampy mud pit into an attractive usable backyard space. The process was very easy and everyone was extremely professional. Peter Rhyne was my consultant and he made the whole thing just a breeze. He also pointed out that my HVAC system was crooked and sinking badly into the mud pit. Per his suggestion I was able to get the builder to come out and resolve that issue.
